Multi-tiered System
of Support
At Baringa School, our Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) provides a whole school approach to supporting every student learning, wellbeing, behaviour and engagement.

MTSS recognises that students require different levels of supports at different times. through high quality universal teaching, targeted interventions and individualised intensive support, we respond to student strengths and needs in an planned, flexible and evidence-informed way.

Our approach brings curriculum, wellbeing and behaviour together, ensuring supports are not delivered in isolation. Students progress is informed by ongoing assessment, observation, data and collaboration between students, families, teachers, education support staff, allied health professionals and external services.

As students needs increase, the intensity, individualisation and frequency ion supports also increase.
